Chief Keef has a warrant out for his arrest! The 21 year-old rapper did not show up for his arraignment in court on his on DUI and weed possession charges. A Miami judge immediately issued an arrest warrant on Tuesday, May 2, according to TMZ. This happened less than a month after Chief’s bizarre lip-licking mugshot on Apr. 9.

Here’s basically what happened: the police had pulled over Chief at a traffic stop. They realized that he was intoxicated while behind the wheel and suspected him of being a part of a weed transfer with passengers in another car, according to TMZ. The driver in the other car then owned up to having the weed and gave it over to the cops. The on-site drug expert was called before Chief was officially arrested because officers reportedly saw he had bloodshot eyes and a dry mouth. Chief reportedly said, “It’s okay, when you find weed in my urine I’ll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card.”

This has not even been Chief’s first encounter with the law this year. He was previously arrested on Jan. 27 after Los Angeles Police Department searched for him for a week due to his allegedly involvement in a home invasion robbery! His bail was set at a whomping $500,000! To top it off, Chief was supposed to perform the day after his arrest at the NOLA Flood Fest in New Orleans, Louisiana.
