Every first Monday in May, the Met Gala rolls around and it’s our favorite night of the year because it’s all about fashion. Fashion can be tricky because some celebs like to go seriously overboard, which has led to some of the worst Met Gala dresses of all time. So, we decided to reminisce and think back to some of the weirdest, wackiest, wildest, and absolute worst dressed from the Met Gala throughout the years. We can’t decide who was the worst dressed — what do you guys think? VOTE.
It’s almost necessary to start with Madonna, 58, because her Met Gala looks have been so bizarre over the years. We have to say though, her 2016 Givenchy ensemble was pretty nuts. She rocked a sheer black outfit that was completely see-through, putting her bare butt on full display.
Amber Valletta, 43, might take the cake for the worst dressed ever. In 2004 she donned a Maggie Norris Couture corset and John Galliano skirt with a huge wig — she looked like a punk Marie Antoinette. It definitely looked more like a Halloween costume than anything else.

In 2015, when Lady Gaga, 31, arrived on the carpet in custom Balenciaga by Alexander Wang from head-to-toe, we almost didn’t recognize her. She completely transformed her face and opted for an extremely oversized boxy long cape. There was no aspect to this look and it was a complete twist from her usual half naked looks.
We, of course, had to end this note on Kim Kardashian, 36. When Kim arrived on the Met Gala red carpet in 2013 in a custom Givenchy gown designed by Riccardo Tisci, she immediately went viral. She was pregnant at the time and rocked the skin-tight floral dress with the slit on the side. The internet went wild and lost their minds. Kim was called Mrs. Doubtfire and was being compared to people’s grandmas couches — it was berserk.
We want to know what you guys think! Who was the worst dressed celeb at the Met Gala? VOTE.
