And boy, do they sometimes choose the oddest places to get in their REMs. When you’ve spent a long day on set shooting a hit TV show or a film, or you’ve been touring nonstop, sometimes it’s just worth it to get a little shuteye wherever possible. Sometimes awards shows are too much to handle. Chrissy Teigen, 31, became an instant meme after she fell asleep in the audience during the 2017 Academy Awards on February 26. She totally owned up to the moment, tweeting afterward, “Did I miss anything?” Goldie Hawn, 71, fell dead asleep in the makeup chair while getting glammed up for the Golden Globes on January 8. In her defense, it’s very relaxing to have someone do your hair! She posted the funny pic on Instagram, captioned, “super pumped for the Golden Globes”. So funny!

Hardworking musicians often just can’t help but nap while on the road. Niall Horan, 23, was once snapped sleeping inside a suitcase while on the road with One Direction. No really; he was inside his luggage, using another person’s suitcase as a pillow! Austin Mahone, 20, has been known to get in a quick catnap by just collapsing face-down on the airport floor.
