Throughout this season of Secrets and Lies, every single person in the Warner family has been suspicious; in the season two finale, we found out that there was a whole other Warner family that we didn’t know about, which meant more suspects: namely R.B. Warner — Eric’s brother.

Yes, he was the one who blackmailed him all those years ago; he was Eric’s father’s other son. But that wasn’t it; John Warner didn’t only have a secret son, he had a secret wife. Yup, an entire separate family.

But let’s skip to the part you’ve been waiting for: Kate’s killer is Amanda, Eric’s sister. Her reasoning? She was so jealous that Kate could get pregnant so easily, while she struggled for so long. Our sister site, TVLine, spoke with EP Barbie Kligman, who admitted that she has hope for the Warner men.

“I see the hope through Eric and Patrick, and through Eric and Charlie, Kate’s son. This week’s Cornell Confidential webisode takes place after Patrick gets out of jail,” she said. “You find out that Eric kept in touch with him, and that Eric did adopt Amanda’s baby. He’s got a whole new life. He’s a daddy, he’s raising Amanda’s little girl, and he and Patrick are going to be OK. As for the others, Amanda is obviously still in the doghouse, and their father’s betrayal was also just too big.”

She also added that with that cliffhanger, there’s a chance Cornell could be the case victim should the show continue. “Given how many enemies Cornell has made over the years, there certainly wouldn’t be a shortage of suspects,” she said.

HollywoodLifers, did you see Amanda being the killer coming?
