With only four more days until the presidential election, Donald Trump, 70, may have found himself in hot water yet again. The company that owns the National Enquirer, known as American Media Inc., agreed to shell out $150,000 to Karen McDougal for her story of their affair nearly a decade ago, according to documents reviewed by the Wall Street Journal. The former Playmate of the Year previously told friends that her 10-month romance with Donald was consensual between 2006 and 2007, when he was also married to his current wife Melania Trump, 46.

The tabloid paper allegedly reached an agreement with Karen in Aug., and her story has yet to be published. According to WSJ, the agreement between Karen and AMI doesn’t mention Donald specifically, but it does allow the publisher access to “any romantic, personal and/or physical relationship she has ever had with any then-married man.” It also says the media company could be awarded up to $150,000 if she shares her story in other interviews or via social media.

However, the media company denied the accusations to the fullest. Their statement reads, “AMI has not paid people to kill damaging stories about Mr. Trump.” Hope Hicks, who serves as the Republican candidate’s spokeswoman also addressed the controversy, saying, “We have no knowledge of any of this,” calling the report “totally untrue.” This latest discovery comes after his controversial Access Hollywood tape, where he bragged about groping women. Several ladies have come forward about his alleged sexual advances throughout his campaign, however Donald claimed that he planned to sue each and every one of the “liars.” Yikes.
