Security guards are paid hourly, which can add up fast. While they can bill anywhere from $70 to $125 an hour, what they cost per hour varies on the client and potential threat level, Aaron Jackson, the President of Finest Execution Protection, told E! News. Considering how famous Kim is and what she just went through, one can only imagine what she’s spending!

In fact, Aaron estimates that Kim, 35, will likely be charged about $150 an hour for every guard she uses. Sure, that’s pocket change for someone like Kim…but if she’s going to have 30 guards around her like she did when reuniting with Kanye West on Oct. 3, that adds up fast. After her Paris attack, Kim will likely want security around her 24/7 — and if she’s paying 30 guards 150/hour, she’s spending a hefty $108,000 per day!
Then again, Kim can’t really put a price on safety after what happened in Paris. The mom of two feared for her life when the robbers raided her apartment, as they bound her hands and feet, gagged her, and held her at gunpoint. One report even said that she was terrified that she’d be raped. Although Kim wasn’t physically harmed in the scary incident, the robbers made off with about $11 million worth of her jewels, reportedly including her new 20-carat diamond from Kanye. So even if the thieves hadn’t harmed her, what they stole is enough for Kim to feel like she needs 24-hour protection!

Now that Kim is reunited with her hubby and their kids, we’re thinking it might be a little while before we see her out in public as she’s still pretty shaken from the robbery. But once we do see her again, we have a feeling she’ll have quite the (expensive) security posse with her!
