Unfortunately, Britney is now balking. “Since Justin said that he’d be open to working with Britney again, her team is all over her about making it happen,” an insider tells us EXCLUSIVELY. “But she doesn’t want to. Justin is the love of her life and she’s never gotten over losing him.”

“She feels like collaborating with him would just open old wounds and intensify her feelings for him. She’s worked hard to move on, and this would undo all of the progress she’s made,” our source adds.
As you’ll recall, Britney and Justin dated from 1999-2002, and broke up amid rumors that she was unfaithful with her choreographer Wade Robson. Then things got ugly when Justin penned the scathing breakup ballad, “Cry Me A River;” one of his first solo songs after splitting from NSYNC. He then went on to become a superstar, while she went on to have a meltdown. Her next romance with Kevin Federline, 38, was doomed as well, though it produced two beautiful sons, Sean, 11, and Jayden, 10. Justin’s now married with Jessica Biel, and Britney’s single.
