Americans Kerri Walsh Jennings, 38, and April Ross, 34, are keeping their Olympic medal hopes alive by fighting for the bronze medal in Rio, but they’re going to have yet another epic battle against another tough Brazilian team. After losing their shot at gold in straight sets to the dynamic Brazilian duo of Agatha Bednarczuk, 33, and Barbara Seixas, 29, they’re still hoping for a medal, but it’s going to be another brutal quest. They’re set to play Brazil’s top ranked team of Larissa França, 33, and Talita Antunes, 34, who lost to Germany Aug. 16. The match kicks off at 9pm EST and you won’t want to miss it! CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE U.S. PLAY BRAZIL FOR THE BRONZE MEDAL ON LIVE STREAM.

Kerri lost her first match ever in Olympic play when Agatha and Barbara completely dominated their sets. The three-time Olympic gold medalist is now 26-1 and we’re sure she doesn’t want to leave the games empty-handed without a medal. It’s going to be deja vu all over again for her going up against another team of strong Brazilians for the second night in a row, so she’s going to really have to rally after her rocky performance in the semi’s.

She placed the blame squarely on herself when it came to her very first Olympic loss. “You’ve got to pass the ball to win matches,” Kerri told USA Today after the match.” I don’t even know how many aces they got — four per game, maybe, on me? That’s unacceptable and inexcusable. I’ve been served aggressively this whole tournament, when people serve at me, and so has April (Ross). We’ve handled it in every other situation so it is really disappointing and heartbreaking to not do that tonight.” Hopefully April and Kerri turn their game around so they can still leave the Rio games with the bronze medal!
