Jesse Wellens and Jeana Smith are back together! On their BFvsGF channel, at least. The duo posted a new video together on Aug. 3 for the first time since their heartbreaking split video went crazy-viral on May 18, and it sent their millions of fans into an actual frenzy.

The video opens with Jesse riding a skateboard around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while Jeana clings to him, piggy-back style. It’s a pretty intimate position to be in with an ex for an extended amount of time, so our first reaction was that they MUST be back together! Unfortunately, they quickly squashed our dreams.
“This is probably very interesting to you right now, Jeana and I are here together in the video,” said Jesse once they reached their destination. “But yes, we’re friends, we like to hang out and we wanted to go and see the Logic show here in Philadelphia.” Darn it!
The former couple then went backstage to watch Jesse’s friend Logic (whose real name is Bobby), totally slay the stage in front of thousands of screaming fans. Afterwards, the go hang with the rapper in his tour bus and Jeana says that he’s “so humble” and sweet. We miss seeing the shenanigans these two get into together, and it was so nice to see them back making videos side-by-side. We know it’s probably silly, but we’re going to hold out hope that they might reconcile for real one day!
