“For Iggy Azalea’s body fat content, it’s extremely unusual for somebody to have that shape of a butt without some sort of surgical enhancement,” plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Youssef of Younique Cosmetic Surgery tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She could have had a Brazilian Butt Lift with a fat transfer or buttocks implants. I think she had the implants because of the roundness and definition around the buttocks. With fat transfers, we usually see a more subtle and softer augmentation. Also, someone as thin as Iggy may not be able to do the fat transfer because of the limited amount of fat she has.”

As for what the singer would have had to go through to get the work done, which she showed off in an Instagram pic of her new, fuller behind,  he tells us “The procedure for the butt implants takes about two hours. There’s a downtime of about three to four weeks of not sitting on any hard surfaces. Butt implants are a higher risk procedure than the Brazilian Butt Lift. There’s a greater risk of infection because it’s more invasive.” OMG, we can’t imagine what it would be like to not be able to properly sit for a MONTH after getting those things put in.

Talking about suffering for your curves! Not to mention the damage to your pocketbook, as butt implants cost on average between $9,000 -$10,000. The Brazilian Butt Lift on the other hand runs about $7,000 – $8,000, with the procedure taking about two to three hours because it involves liposuction, but there’s minimal downtime.

“I think Iggy’s butt implants look good. I think it looks a bit disproportionate, but that’s what is popular right now. By disproportionate, I mean a narrower waist with a wider hip and buttocks,” Dr. Youssef adds. Hey, whatever makes the lady happy and more secure!
