And they got a taste of it once again when she graced the closing ceremony of the Shanghai Film Festival, stopping to take photos on the red carpet in a black floor length gown with floral designs and sheer sleeves. It’s only been nearly a week since her last stop at the Tony Awards, where viewers couldn’t help but notice a more plump pout and overly smooth complexion.
After Meg hit the stage to introduce the cast of “She Loves Me,” social media went into a frenzy as they could no longer recognize the 90’s it-girl. The result was criticism towards her swollen cheekbones and smile, leading her to become a trending topic on Twitter and Facebook. HollywoodLife.com previously spoke with surgeon Mark Youssef from Younique Cosmetic Surgery to get his expert opinion on what Meg may have done to her face. While we are unable to confirm whether Meg has had plastic surgery, he did note that he thinks “She may have done too much. I think that’s why people are a little shocked because she doesn’t look like the Meg Ryan that we all love.” The star has denied going under the knife.
We think Meg looks absolutely beautiful the way she is! Fans have come to love the mother-of-two’s work, but of course how easily things of that nature can be overshadowed.
