So sad. Justin and Anton both starred in Alpha Dogs; Justin played Frankie Ballenbacher, while Anton played Zack Mazursky.

“I was sort of like hoping he would be a good guy, which he is,” Anton said in an interview about working with Justin in Alpha Dogs. “He is a really good guy. He’s really dedicated to work with, so it was all good.” Anton was actually the new guy on set, and was quickly taken in.

“I came to the [script reading], and everybody knew each other. They were friends, and I was like, ‘Oh, this is great. This is gonna suck,'” he told MTV. “And at the same time, I wanted to be friends with all these guys. I didn’t have the same amount of time [as they had to get to know each other], but it worked out perfectly.”

Anton was found outside his home in San Fernando Valley, Cali. on June 19 after he failed to show up for an outing with friends, TMZ reported. He was pinned between his car and brick mailbox attacked to the security gate.

Police told TMZ that the car was still running in neutral gear when they found his body. It looked as though the car may have rolled down the hill, pinning him against the brick mailbox — his driveway is on a steep incline. Police did not suspect foul play at the time of death.
