Nia Guzman Claims Chris Brown Was Not Ready To Deal With Royalty When She Was Born

The feud between Chris Brown and Nia Guzman continues! Nia has even gone so far as to say Chris wasn't emotionally ready to deal with baby Royalty when their daughter was a newborn -- which is why Royalty's existence was kept secret for so long! Way to put it all out there, Nia Guzman! Chris Brown's, 27, 33-year-old baby mama totally dissed the singer when she spoke out about their co-parenting issues  -- sounding off about being "fearful" for Royalty to get to know her dad a year ago and claiming Chris "wasn't ready" to deal with his daughter when she was born. Yikes!

“The world didn’t find out about her until a year ago,” Nia explained when asked by Latina magazine about raising Royalty in the public eye. “[Chris] always knew about her, he just wasn’t ready to deal with the situation,” she continued.

But when it comes to co-parenting with a mega-celeb like her former flame, Nia didn’t have one good thing to say about the artist. “It’s been quite the experience. I can’t say anything positive about it… at all. Nothing positive,” she revealed. Ouch!

And apparently there was a BIG reason Nia decided to keep the news of Royalty’s birth private — and it all had to do with Chris and his “wild” ways. In fact, Nia admitted that she was downright terrified for her little girl to grow up surrounded by that!

“I knew what the outcome was going to be once it came out. I was very fearful for…everything that’s going on now,” the model dished. “I know that he’s young, he’s wild, and he has the bad boy persona, and I just knew that it just wasn’t going to be the best situation.”

And honestly, so far it hasn’t been the “best situation.” After all, Nia and Chris bicker all the time — even on social media for the whole world to see! But does Nia have any regrets about how her and Chris have handled everything so far? “If I could have still kept [Royalty] quiet until now, I would have.” Wow! This mama bear certainly means business. Throughout her interview she was extremely adamant about raising Royalty in a “normal” way. And honestly, we can’t agree with her more!

The last thing she wants is for Royalty be a “spoiled rich kid.” And that’s one of the reasons she feels a bit uncomfortable letting Chris watch Royalty alone. “It’s pretty common sense. He knows. He knows he cannot do it on his own,” Nia revealed. “She’s only two, and she’s a lot of work.”

So now it’s starting to make a lot more sense why Nia was so set on taking Chris to court over this issue — she wanted a nanny to be set in place so that Chris would have extra help caring for Royalty when he’s with her. But, as HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Nia lost that custody battle.

These two certainly have a lot of drama between them but overall, we’re sure both parents just want what’s best for their child. We’re hoping they can sort through their own issues soon, for Royalty’s sake!

What do you think about Nia’s interview, HollywoodLifers? Do you agree with her that Chris was probably not ready for Royalty when she was born?
