That was insane. Just before JoJo was about to start her rose ceremony, Jake got out of a limo and walked into the mansion. He hugged JoJo and asked to talk to her. Of course, in the trailer we saw him say “I want love…” but it’s not what you think!
Jake and JoJo have history together, but it’s nothing romantic. He’s a close family friend; one of her brothers went to school with Jake — and he was just there to help.
“You know how long I’ve known you; we just have way too much history for me to let you go through with this without talking to me first,” Jake said. What I’m trying to say is I want love for you, and I want you to find love here, and I believe it’s in this room. I wanted to give you a little bit of advice. From what I understand you have some really great guys in there,” he said. “Trust your gut. Your job is to be here and to fall in love. Just make sure you stay really open; don’t zero in on anybody because it’s really early. One thinkg I know about you — don’t throw your walls up.”
In case you need a refresher on all things Jake Pavelka, he’s the pilot from Jillian Harris’ season five, in 2009. She didn’t pick him, and he went on to become the Bachelor in season 14 (2010). He shocked everyone when he popped the question to the infamous Vienna Girardi. They broke up a few months after the show ended.
