“NO, NO, NO! Red Bull has too many artificial ingredients and too much caffeine. It’s not good for the mom’s health or the baby’s health,” Obstetrician Dr. David Ghozland tells HollywoodLife.com. TMZ got ahold of Blac’s appearance rider for her May 18 appearance at a strip club in the Bronx and she demanded 3 Red Bulls, 1 bottle of Tylenol, a pack of Big Red gum and a bottle of Moet Nectar Rose for her hotel room. Lisa De Fazio, MS, Registered Dietitian agrees with Dr. Ghozland, telling us “NO! It is not OK to drink energy drinks while pregnant!” she warns.
“The American Pregnancy Association says that caffeine — which is a major ingredient in energy drinks — crosses the placenta to the baby, who cannot fully metabolize it, therefore it interferes with the development of the baby’s sleep pattern. Also imagine what this sugar and stimulant loaded beverage does to a tiny developing heart?! Energy drinks cause heart problems in adults, so imagine what it does to a fetus!” OMG, we really hope that the Red Bull that Blac requests is for fiance Rob Kardashian, 29, and not her, because she could be causing serious problems for their baby!

Not only is the power drink bad for her baby, it’s bad for the mommy-to-be as well! “The drink’s sodium causes swelling in your hands and feet; too much caffeine can cause growth restriction and increased risk of ADD or ADHD for the baby later in life. The Red Bull adds useless calories that can lead to excessive weight gain in pregnancy and gestational diabetes. Chyna needs to think about the health of this baby and do the right thing so she has no regrets down the line!”
HollywoodLifers, do you think Blac will stop drinking Red Bull for the sake of her baby?
