OK, so let us break it down for you. Drake recently performed his new song, “Hype,” on the May 14 episode of Saturday Night Live, and in it, he raps, “It cost me 50 at Tiffany’s/Shout out to Tiffany, Stephanie.” Then, in Ariana Grande’s new song, Nicki raps, “Kissing me, copped the blue box that say Tiffany/Curry with the shot, just tell ’em to call me Stephanie.” Either it’s a super strange coincidence that both Drake and Nicki said the names Tiffany and Stephanie, or Nicki is trying to get Drake’s attention!
And because we know their romantic history, we’d go with the latter if we had to venture a guess. Clever, clever girl she is!
Nicki and Drake have never dated, but he once said he wants to marry her. He would even put a ring on her finger, if he knew she’d say yes!

Interestingly, Genius also cites Nicki’s Stephen Curry lyric as a shoutout to Drake’s song, “0 to 100 / The Catch Up,” when he raps, “This s*** a mothaf***in’ lay up/I been Steph Curry with the shot.” Hmm! So with that and the initial connection, it definitely looks like Nicki’s sending a message to Drake. Will he respond? Listen to both songs above.
