“Gigi keeps catching Zayn talking to his ex-fancee [Perrie]. Gigi has had it,” a source told Life & Style. And by had it, the insider means she’s almost ready to cut things off! “She’s told him that if she catches him talking to his ex again, it’s over for good.”
Oh no…no no no! We don’t want to see one of Hollywood’s hottest couples end so soon! The news first broke that Zayn had been in touch with Perrie on April 20, after Gigi reportedly caught her man texting the Little Mix singer while they were hanging out. Although an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Perrie was simply just reaching out to Zayn to “discuss some items she still has of his,” it seems that might not be the case anymore.
In fact, Zayn has been talking to Perrie so much that it even caused issues on Gigi’s birthday. Just before her big bash on April 28, the two had a blowout fight over Zayn’s ex…and Gigi’s big night was totally ruined!
With or without Perrie in the picture, though, the Life & Style source said that Zayn and Gigi are “definitely on the rocks.” And it’s not just Perrie that’s the problem, either — Zayn is supposedly having commitment issues all of the sudden!
“He’s told her he’s just not sure he can fully commit to her,” the insider added. “He’s enjoying his fame and may want to keep his dating options open.”
So Perrie might not even be the real issue here? This all seems pretty crazy considering Zigi just made their couple red carpet debut at the Met Gala on May 2, and posed for a lovey-dovey Vogue photoshoot just before that! Even if Zayn is starting to doubt his ability to commit to Gigi, it would certainly help for him to stop texting his ex!
