Jessica Capshaw’s family just got a little bit bigger and a WHOLE lot cuter! The ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star and her hubby, Christopher Gavigan, happily welcomed a new addition to their family on May 2 and we are already obsessed!
Jessica Capshaw, 39, announced via Instagram on May 9 that she gave birth to a healthy baby girl on May 2 — SO cute! This is the fourth child for the actress, who plays Arizona Robbins on Grey’s Anatomy, and her husband, Christopher Gavigan. Even better, the star shared the MOST adorable pic of her new daughter, giving fans a special first look. She also revealed the precious baby girl’s name — wait until you hear it!
“💗 Josephine Kate Gavigan 💗 May 2, 2016,” Jessica captioned the photo of her newborn. “I am endlessly grateful for her safe arrival and my heart is so full of love that it threatens to burst.” Christopher added, “Welcome to our newest & sweetest little one. Our hearts are bursting in so many ways.” What a sweet name, right?
We could not be happier for the growing family, who announced they were expecting their newest addition back in December. “This year our family has further reason to broaden our smile … baby number four is on the way!! I am a lucky, lucky girl…” Jessica, who is already a mom to son Luke Hudson, 8, and daughters Eve Augusta, 5, and Poppy James, 3, gushed at the time.
It’s clear that Jessica is ALL about family and just loves spending time with her little ones. Right before she gave birth to little Josephine, the mom-of-four spoke to People magazine about her most recent pregnancy. “I’m [due] any minute now,” she dished while attending the Annual H.E.A.R.T. Brunch. “I’m an ‘any-minuter.’ I’m the person that makes people very nervous! I’ve had more people offer to help me downstairs today than my whole life.”
Aw, we just know Josephine will make the cutest addition to their fam — congrats you two!
