Bobbi passed away from a combination of drowning and a lethal combination of alcohol, marijuana, sedative medications and anxiety drugs. But Bobby Brown, 47, and Whitney’s daughter also had “depressions” on her skull and bruises all over her arms and thighs, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, per PEOPLE. In addition to all the bruises all over her body, Bobbi Kristina had dozens of “well-healed scars on the head, neck, torso and extremities.”
That’s not all. When Bobbi Kristina died on July 26, 2015, after spending nearly seven months in a medical induced coma, she was a mere 95 pounds. It’s no surprise that due to this frightening weight loss, doctors classified Bobbi as being “under-nourished.”
These horrifying details were released when the Fulton County’s Medical Examiner’s office released the official autopsy report. Though it’s been more than a year since Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious and facedown in the bathroom of her George home, the tragedy of this 22-year-old girl’s death still lingers on.

The medical examiner also said that “whether her death was due to intentional or accidental causes are unknown.” What this information means to Nick Gordon, 20, remains to be seen. The investigation into what exactly happened to Bobbi Kristina is still ongoing. Bobby Brown, 47, has blamed Nick for his daughter’s death, through Nick has always said he was innocent.
Bobbi’s death eerily mirrors that of her mother, as Whitney also passed away from drowning and drug intoxication on Feb. 11, 2012. This connection between mother and daughter is why Bobby, in his first interview since Bobbi’s death, said that Whitney “called my daughter [to be] with her.”
Our thoughts continue to go out to Bobbi Kristina’s family as they continue to deal with her tragic death.
