“Mason knows and will sometimes call her Grandpa, like Grandpa Bruce,” Khloe, 31, revealed on Watch What Happens Live! “He’s the oldest so he kind of knows.”
Khloe went on to say that the fam tries to teach him out of respect to call the former Bruce, by her new name, Caitlyn. “But he’ll say, ‘No that’s Grandpa!’ Like oh, how do we do this?”
But never fear, Khloe and the rest of the Kardashians are positive that as Mason gets older, he’ll adjust and will have no problem referring to Bruce as Caitlyn. “In time, he’ll learn,” Khloe confidently stated.
We think so too! Mason was five years-old when Caitlyn transitioned in May 2015. Since then, Caitlyn has starred in her own reality television series, I am Cait. And in her season two trailer, Caitlyn revealed that she’s through dating women.
But no matter what may change on the outside, Caitlyn will always be a loving and supportive grandparent to Mason, Penelope, 3; North, 2; Reign, 1; and Saint, six weeks. Because as the Kardashians have taught us time and time again, family comes first!
