A win today would bring Real Madrid closer to topping Barcelona in the rankings. Real Madrid’s squad for today’s game includes Cristiano, Lucas Vázquez, Karim Benzema and Jesé, according to ManagingMadrid.com. However, Valencia isn’t going to make it easy for Real Madrid.
Big changes have been made for the Valencia team over the last few months. Coach Nuno Espirito was fired in Dec. 2015, and Gary Neville has since taken over. Valencia is looking to get their season back on track.
Real Madrid has enjoyed many solid wins over the past few weeks of play. They destroyed Rayo 10-2 on Dec. 20. They also beat Real Sociedad 3-1 on Dec. 30. Valencia hasn’t had monstrous wins like Real Madrid, but they’ve walked away winners in two of their last three games. Today’s game is definitely going to be a good one!
