Ashley Rickards ‘Dying’ To Return To ‘American Horror Story’

Listen up, Ryan Murphy! Ashley Rickards is almost finished with 'Awkward,' and she's already got her eye on her next role -- heading back to 'American Horror Story.' Ashley Rickards and Evan Peters made quite the couple on One Tree Hill -- then he killed her during season one of American Horror Story: Murder House. So, we have to agree that it's time for her to come back to the franchise! HollywoodLife.com spoke exclusively with the actress about her history on the serious -- and how this season is her favorite yet.

With Awkward ending, we had to know — would she be open to heading back to American Horror Story? “Yes, and I hope that this ends up on a Google Alert with Ryan [Murphy] and Brad [Falchuk], because I am DYING to go back on that show,” she told us during an interview. Ashley, who is currently collaborating with Sleep Innovation’s holiday campaign, No Place Like Home, also added she’s hoping “this ends up in their email box.”

She also added that Lady Gaga‘s part on the show is something she (just like the rest of us) is obsessing over.

“I love that show. This season has been SO great,” she said. “Lady Gaga’s absolutely fantastic to watch. I really don’t think there’s anybody who could have played that precise amount of super human, not really because she’s not, and also that ever so slight vulnerability. You just get to watch this completely fascinating performance and she just nails it.”

Right now, Ashley is still playing Jenna Hamilton for the last time. Season five, the final season of the MTV show, Awkward, just hit its midway mark — and we can’t wait to see how it ends.

So, do you want her to return to AHS? In the mean time, use the hashtag “#SINoPlaceLikeHome” along with your most awkward holiday sleeping arrangement stories, and Sleep Innovations will donate $1 to homeless youth on your behalf. It’s that simple!
