Justin Bieber Calls Selena Gomez His Own ‘Yoko’– Like John Lennon & True Love Yoko Ono

Beyonce and Jay Z, Sonny and Cher, John Lennon and Yoko Ono -- Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez?? Justin's new song 'No Pressure' is totally about true love Selena, and he's comparing her to one of the most iconic celebrity muses of all time: Yoko Ono! Justin Bieber's new album Purpose is about to drop, and he's treated us to one more new song -- "No Pressure," which is clearly about Selena Gomez! The song, about getting a special lady to make up her mind about their relationship, claims that she's his one true love, his Yoko Ono -- and that means he's John Lennon. Are Justin and Selena one of music's most iconic couples?

“In the bed together but we sleepin’ solo/Hectic, drive you loco/You supposed to me my uno, Yoko,” Big Sean raps in his verse, featured in Justin’s new song. Justin’s lyrics are of course referring to Yoko Ono, the woman who stole John Lennon’s heart and became his ultimate muse while he was still with The Beatles in the 1970s.

Selena is that for Justin; his whole album is inspired by his ex-girlfriend, whom he revealed he still loves — and will always love — in an explosive interview! John and Yoko were married in 1969, and together until 1980, when he was tragically assassinated outside their home near Central Park. The record of how the couple first met in 1965 isn’t too clear. The way his family tells it, they met at her art exhibit in NYC, while Paul McCartney says the two met in London, where Yoko was working on a book.

Yoko had never heard of The Beatles, the most famous band in the world! But John was instantly smitten, and the two had a legendary love that sparked John’s passion for activism. During his last two years with The Beatles, John began protesting the Vietnam War with Yoko, including their infamous bed-in for peace. They recorded “Give Peace a Chance” from their bed!

And of course, the two appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone completely naked! Now, Justin and Selena are still quite young, but perhaps they have the passion and love to fulfill the same status as John and Yoko. They just need a cause and an infamous magazine feature! Yoko was accused of derailing The Beatles, a rumor that still persists to this day. We really don’t think that will be the case with Selena, regarding Justin’s career — especially since the two just recorded a powerhouse duet.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Justin and Selena are the new John and Yoko? Tell us in the comments!
