“Taylor adores Blake in a big-brother way,” an insider tells OK! Magazine. “She’s always been closer to him, and Miranda hated that.” Despite their alleged differences, though, the 25-year-old invited Miranda to perform with her on Oct. 21 — but it was all for show, according to the mag’s source.
“The performance was a favor to her management team,” OK! claims. “They’ve been in overdrive since her divorce and the backlash over rumors that she cheated. Who better to place her with than America’s golden girl, Taylor Swift? Miranda’s had to do a bunch of stuff she wouldn’t normally do for the sake of repairing her image. That includes taking the stage with Taylor.”
And while things got heated up between the women over the summer, their feud has reportedly been going on for years. “I think it had something to do with a collaboration that fell through,” Star reports.” Ever since then, they’ve been at odds. Miranda thinks Taylor is fake and tacky, while Taylor says Miranda is a bully and hates how she treats people, including Blake. Everyone in Nashville knows these two can’t stand each other.”
Okay, I don’t know, you guys…this one seems a little fishy to me! Not only did Taylor’s rep completely deny the fight to OK!, but it certainly didn’t seem like Taylor and Miranda were faking their friendship when they took the stage together. “You are a bad a**! Amazing show! #inspired,” the 31-year-old tweeted to Tay, who shared a ton of performance pics on social media, after the show. And the duet looked like so much fun!
