Keith Urban & John Mellencamp Bring Down The House With CMA Duet

Keith Urban and John Mellencamp brought the house down in their duet that opened the 2015 Country Music Association Awards. The two teamed up for a rousing version of John's classic "Little Pink Houses" and absolutely nailed it! Keith Urban, 48, continues to prove why he's one of the biggest names in country music. He joined rock legend John Mellencamp, 64, onstage at the CMA's with an amazing version of John's 1984 hit "Little Pink Houses. Then John turned the stage over to Keith to perform his number one hit “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16." The "John Cougar" Keith is referring to is John's original stage name from back in the 1980s, when he came out with hits like "Hurts So Good."

The performances went down before a thrilled crowd at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, where Keith calls home. His ode to having everything he needs to know come from John, tractors and the Bible was made so much more special having the subject of his song there in the building with him!

Earlier in the day, Keith received the news that he was already a CMA winner before the ceremony even began. He took home a trophy for Best Musical Event for Raise ‘Em Up”: Eric Church featuring Keith Urban. That adds to Keith’s already heavy shelf of prior CMA wins, including his epic 2005 Entertainer of the Year title.

In addition to their love of music, Keith and John both have love for famous actresses! Keith is married to Oscar winner Nicole Kidman, 48, and the pair have two precious daughters, Sunday Rose, and Faith Margaret. John was in a long term romance with actress Meg Ryan,53, before stepping out recently with stunning model Christie Brinkley, 61. Man, those crooners can make it with the most beautiful women around!
