Kylie Jenner Mocks Kim Kardashian & Fam For All Wearing Same Color On Red Carpet

Points for originality! Five of the six Kardashian women hit the carpet for an event on Oct. 12, all wearing their signature color: black. Well, all of them except for one miss Kylie Jenner, who totally called her family out for rocking the same color! Well, we all know that Kylie Jenner has a tendency to steal the show! At the Cosmopolitan 50th birthday event at Ysabel in Hollywood on Oct. 12, the 18-year-old broke the mold of the rest of her family, opting for a light grey dress, while sister Kim Kardashian, 34, and the rest of the clan all went with sizzling black numbers. Of course, the youngest of the women wasn't about to let the moment go by without mocking the rest of her fam! See how she made fun of her clad-in-black mom and sisters!

“I didn’t get the ‘wear all black’ email,” Kylie wrote on Instagram following the event. In the photo which she posted, Kylie struck a pose on the carpet, standing next to her mom, Kris Jenner, 59, Kim, and her other two sisters, Kourtney Kardashian36, and Khloe Kardashian, 31. With Kylie’s light ensemble in striking contrast to the rest of her family’s, it truly does look like it was planned to be at least slightly funny. Kylie’s look was, unsurprisingly, also much more youthful than her mother’s and sisters’. While the other women went with looks that were (somewhat more) full coverage, young Ky put her mile-long legs on full display, rocking the heck out of that mini dress.

Noticeably absent from the carpet was Kylie’s pal, Kendall Jenner, 19, who may or may not have accompanied her sister in the non-black trend. It’s only fitting that the fam was on hand to celebrate the iconic Cosmo mag, as the six women graced the cover for the November issue, with the title, “The First Family.”

What do you think of Kylie’s trend-breaking? Should she have worn black?
