Why can’t everyone just let Serena be? She just won a renowned world title for being one of the best athletes in the world, so why are people talking about her eyebrows, of all things? Trolls took to Twitter to bash her eyebrows saying that “they’re too long, they’re gross, I hate them” — some even called them “caterpillars.”

Serena took the insults with stride, as she always does, and posted an Instagram video (watch here) of herself getting her eyebrows trimmed by a beautician with the caption: “Lol finally getting them shaped! Hahahha #haters I love you!!! Hahah but I still like them all natural! But for now you win lol.” Good for Serena for sticking up for herself, but we like the way she looks either way. How can anyone say her brows are ugly after her gorgeous makeup at the Wimbledon Champions’ Ball on July 12?

No matter what Serena does or looks like, people are always going to be jealous of her unmatched talent and career — even when she was dressed to the nines at the Ball, J.K. Rowling, author of Harry Potter, tweeted that night, “I love her. What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!” A random person tweeted in response, “she is built like a man,” to which J.K. replied, “Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You’re an idiot.” Wow — you go J.K.!

What do you guys think of Serena’s haters on social media?
