Harrison Ford In Surgery For Broken Pelvis After Terrifying Plane Crash
Dr. Khurana told ABC News: “[Harrison] was stunned a bit. He was moaning and in pain.”
Even though Harrison’s son, Ben Ford, took to Twitter and assured fans that his father was okay, a new report claims that he was pretty banged up.
“At the hospital. Dad is ok,” Ben tweeted. “Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man. Thank you all for your thoughts and good vibes for my dad.”
But it sounds like the actor is in quite a bit of pain, according to The Daily Mail, which claims he has a broken ankle and pelvis as a result of the crash.
He also had a head injury: “A swath of his skin was missing. There was blood dripping down his face,” an eyewitness told TMZ.
Harrison’s team released the following statement after the crash:
“Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which had engine trouble upon take off. He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”
HollywoodLifers, we are just glad that Harrison is going to be okay!
