Lil Wayne’s Mixtape: He Disses Birdman & Cash Money Records On ‘Sorry 4 The Wait 2’
On Sorry 4 The Wait 2, which is a reference to his long delayed album, Lil Wayne takes aim at Birdman with a song called “Coco,” according to TMZ.
In the song, he raps: “Who kept this s**t this together? N***a, me, that’s who! Who was there when n***as left? N***a, me that’s who! Cash Money is an army, I’m a one man army!”

We can’t say we’re totally shocked by these lyrics. This isn’t the first time Lil Wayne dissed Birdman.
Lil Wayne Disses Birdman & Cash Money Records — ‘Tha Carter V’ Won’t Be Released
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Lil Wayne tweeted on Dec. 4 that Cash Money Records won’t be releasing Tha Carter V. In the same series of tweets, the rapper also took the opportunity to bash Birdman and his longtime label, Cash Money Records.
In one tweet, he said, “I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy.”
He then added, “I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u.”
Clearly, Lil Wayne is not happy with Birdman or his longtime label, which might be why the rapper is allegedly plotting a move over to Master P‘s No Limit records, according to TMZ.
Regardless, we certainly hope Lil Wayne gets to release Tha Carter V.
