‘Glee’: Naya Rivera Performs Ariana Grande & Big Sean’s Duet — Awkward

Talk about awkward! HollywoodLife.com got a peek at the set list and the premiere episode for 'Glee,' and one song definitely caught our attention. Naya Rivera is singing a hit song that her ex is featured on -- with his new girlfriend! We know that Naya Rivera has moved on and is happily married now to Ryan Dorsey. However, we were shocked when we learned that on the premiere of Glee, Naya's character, Santana was returning and performing a song by the girl her ex, Big Sean, moved on to -- Ariana Grande!

‘Glee’ Naya Rivera Sings Big Sean & Ariana Grande’s Song

Naya gets back into her Cheerios uniform along with Dianna Agron, AKA Quinn and her on-screen love, Heather Morris, who plays Brittany, to perform Ariana’s song, “Problem.”

Ariana Grande Vs. Naya Rivera: Who Sang ‘Problem’ Better?

This is absolutely insane — “Problem” is the first song that Ariana performed with Big Sean — and then they started dating! Yes, they’ve beenfriends for years, but still. Here’s a little timeline to refresh your memory.

October 2013: Big Sean and Naya Rivera get engaged after six months of dating.

April 2014: Six months after that, Sean and Naya split.

July 19, 2014: Naya gets married to Ryan Dorsey.

August 3, 2014: Sean and Ariana were spotted getting cozy at the movies — but reps denied romance.

August 14, 2014: HollywoodLife.com told you it that Sean and Ariana dating was Naya’s “worst nightmare.”

August 24, 2014: Sean was spotted holding hands backstage at the MTV VMAs with Ariana.

September 23, 2014: Glee filmed Naya, Dianna and Heather performing “Problem.”

Big Sean Throws Shade At Naya Rivera

Now this had to be completely uncomfortable for Naya — especially considering that Big Sean also released “IDFWU,” with translates to “I Don’t F–k with You” on Sept. 12, and then revealed a few days later on Sept. 26, “Obviously [‘IDFWU’] kind of is my situation.”

Well, apparently Naya put Glee ahead of any personal reservations she had — and good for her. The song is about being happy after a break up, so maybe it worked! Trust me, the performance is one of the best on the episode. The unholy trinity is definitely back and better than ever. Oh and total props to Naya for rapping Iggy Azalea‘s part — SO good.

Are you shocked by the cover, HollywoodLifers?
