‘Glee’ Season 6 Casts ‘Idol’ Alumnus & More — Meet The New Kids

We know that many of the OGs from McKinley are returning for the final season of 'Glee,' but that doesn't mean there won't be some new singers in the club! Click through our gallery to meet five new stars! Glee is finally returning on January 9 and while we don't know where last year's club went (sorry Marley, Jake and Ryder), we now know that some new faces are coming and who they'll be playing. Will Rachel (Lea Michele) get along with them? Now that is still the question.

‘Glee’ Season 6 Cast

Thanks to some serious investigators on social media, and our friends over at our sister sister, TVLine, we’ve dug up five new characters and who they’ll play! You can see their pics in the gallery above, but here’s what you need to know:

Noah Guthrie, 20, will take on the role of Roderick, who’s described as “chubby and shy with a voice like Otis Redding. His looks don’t match with his talent.” He will be the new underdog on the show. Noah rose to fame on YouTube and then performed on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars!

Marshall Williams, 25, will be the new football stud, Spencer, who Ryan Murphy wanted to cast “to show the world the current changing attitude in High Schools, from gay being perceived as a bad thing, to something more positive, and accepted. Spencer’s a mans man, and doesn’t take shit from anybody,” a source told PopWrapped. He competed on Canadian Idol in ’07 and ’08, and then starred as a football-playing robot who also sang and danced in Disney’s How to Build a Better Boy.

Billy Lewis Jr. will play Mason a weird yet positive new kid. Glee will be his TV debut, but he has many hits on iTunes already and released an EP in 2014. Mason will also have a twin sister!

Laura Dreyfuss will play Madison, a new Cheerio with the same traits as her brother, Mason. You may have seen her on Broadway in productions of Hair and Once.

Samantha Ware will play another Cheerio, Jane. She’s an “ambitious, unconventionally pretty gal” and is funny with no sense of humor. According to TVLine, she wanted to be a Warbler but because she was a girl couldn’t — so to New Directions she went. You may have seen her playing Nala in The Lion King on Broadway, as well as The Book of Mormon.

Oh, and she posted this amazing selfie, which we can’t get enough of. Are you excited for the new cast, HollywoodLifers?
