Anna Paquin’s Sex Scenes On ‘True Blood’: It’s Not Awkward When Husband Stephen Moyer Directs Them
“Actually, it’s not really uncomfortable because we’re all like kind of cozy and friends,” Anna told E! “It’s like, ‘Oh, I’ll put my leg there, you put your hand there. It’s OK, whatever.'”
When her husband — and father of her children — Stephen directs her in the sex scenes, “It should be weird, but it’s not; we’re a very tight family.”
Now that the show is nearing its end, Anna and Stephen plan to relax for a little while. “Doing a series for this long affords you the luxury of a little time to actually stop,” Stephen said. “And I’ve never stopped before so I’m really excited about doing nothing.”
‘True Blood’: Seventh Season As Sex- And Blood-Filled As Ever
In the premiere, Sookie has sex with Alcide (Joe Manganiello), Jason (Ryan Kwanten) has sex with Violet (Karolina Wydra), and even Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Adilyn (Bailey Noble) shared a little chemistry, if you ask us!
While Bailey told HollywoodLife.com that a lesbian relationship is not in the cards for Adilyn this season, she was originally written as a lesbian! For all of True Blood‘s faults, you certainly can’t knock it for a lack of representation!
So, HollywoodLifers, did you catch the premiere? What did you think? Would you feel awkward if your husband was directing you in a sex scene? Let us know!
