“This is serious,” Christine’s pediatrician tells her. “When eyes go crossed, that’s emergency.”

Apparently, it all stems from the illness Truely picked up during the Browns’ trip to San Francisco on last week’s episode. Truely hadn’t gotten better after five days, and at one point, Christine noticed her go cross-eyed.

The whole Brown family — or, rather, all of the Brown families — is stunned when news of Truely’s potentially life-threatening condition spreads.

“He told her that, and he’s a good pediatrician,” Robyn notes after Meri gets a text message, alerting everyone about Truely’s trip to the ER. “That’s scary.”

So where’s Kody while all of this is going on? Unfortunately, the King of the Browns has been out shopping with Mariah — his daughter with Meri — all day, and decides to take a quick nap. He has no idea the crisis he’s about to wake up to!
