We were shocked when Taye and Idina announced that they were separating after a decade of marriage. They have always seemed like such a happy, stable couple, but a new report says they split because Taye was interested in other women! It's hard to imagine Taye Diggs looking for love outside of his marriage -- especially when he has a wife as beautiful and talented as Idina Menzel! But apparently Taye's wandering eye is partly to blame for their separation, according to Vh1′s The Gossip Table.

Taye Diggs Cheating On Idina Menzel? — Did They Split Over His ‘Roving Eye’?

Say it ain’t so! Sources tell The Gossip Table that one of the reasons “that caused rift in their marriage is Taye’s roving eye.”

The show didn’t offer any more details, but it sounds like the separation has been weighing on Taye’s mind for a while now. One of The Gossip Table‘s sources spotted Taye on the streets about two weeks ago and said he “wasn’t with his wife and he was looking tense and forlorn.”

This must be so hard for both Taye and Idina. But if this report is true, we hope Taye didn’t give in to temptation and actually step out on his wife.

Taye Diggs & Idina Menzel Split — Couple Separates After 10 Years Of Marriage

Taye and Idina, who met on the set of the original production of the Broadway musical Rent in 1995, tied the knot in 2003. The couple had a son named Walker in 2009, and they are making him their top priority right now.

“Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time,” reps for the couple told People magazine on Dec. 11. “Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”

We’re so sad to hear that Taye and Idina have split but we’re glad that they seem to be handling it as maturely as possible.
