The British boy band was onstage presenting the award for “Best Pop Video” when Taylor really let it rip to her bestie Selena Gomez, who was seated next to her.
Even though Taylor’s ex is heartthrob Harry Styles, she seems to have contempt for the group as a whole. When band mate Zayn Malik, newly-engaged to Perrie Edwards, said that the “best fans are in New York,” Taylor then turned to Selena and was caught mouthing “Shut the f**k up” with an exasperated and annoyed look on her face. What else are friends for than to gossip (and curse) about ex-boyfriends and their friends right in front of them?
Taylor Swift Disses Both Harry Styles and Zayn Malik
Later, when Taylor won the “Best Female Video” VMA, she further called out her dislike for 1D by knowingly thanking Harry for the award, saying “I also wanna thank the person who inspired this song, who knows exactly who he is, because now I got one of these!”
One Direction hasn’t said anything negative about Tay (yet), but she’s taking every chance she can get to shame the guy who broke her heart, as well as his band mates. They didn’t react to Taylor F-bombing them and Harry sat there with a bemused expression when she called him out after accepting her award.
Either Taylor got burned beyond belief by Harry, or she just wants to get as many eyes as possible on her fabulous short hairdo tonight.
