Mariah Carey’s Slings: See Her MLB Performance Style

Leave it to Mariah to make a shoulder sling sexy — even if that means you might need to find some feathers! As if we needed any more reason to love MiMi, she has now topped all our fleeting expectations with her latest accessory: statement slings. Following her dislocated shoulder and broken rib injuries, the fearless songstress has wasted no time getting back to work. The Grammy-winning singer took to the stage to perform at the MLB All-Star Charity Concert sporting not one, but THREE different statement slings. Leave it to Mariah to incorporate variety.

Carey first wore a white bedazzled mermaid gown with diamond teardrop earrings. She looked gorgeous as she wore her hair down in long curls and performed in front of the massive crowd. However it was her white faux fur sling that really caught our eye! Sure, it looked like MC was carrying a dead poodle, but we kind of love it.

Her second sling was also white, but this time the “Beautiful” singer opted for a full-blown bedazzled look. Mariah’s significant bruising is clearly visible in the sling. Ouch! However she still looks great post-performance. This is our favorite sling of the night. I mean, no one does bedazzle quite like Mariah.

The songstress, however, didn’t stop there. For a minute, we weren’t sure if Mariah grew a wing since her last performance, but rest assured it’s just her final statement sling for the night. She chose one last piece while she turned heads in a black gown with gold embellishments. This peacock-inspired sling featured feathers and gold detailing.

Honestly, we love Mrs. Cannon’s amazing attitude since her music video mishap and no one else could pull this off like her! Kudos to Mariah for being still making it to the event and staying fearless in fashion! Get well soon, MC!
