Tony Hawk is a professional skateboarder, whose name is practically synonymous with the sport. The legend, born May 12, 1968, started young and was a pioneer in the style of ‘vertical skateboarding’, nailing tricks like the 900 and other crazy half-pipe feats. His name was also licensed on the much-beloved video game. In 2003 he retired from competitive skateboarding, but he still practices and performs exhibition runs for special occasions.
Tony has four children and has been married four times, first to Cindy Dunbar (m. 1990; div. 1993) and then to Erin Lee (m. 1996; div. 2004). His third wife was Lhotse Merriam (m. 2006; div. 2011) and he wed Catherine Goodman in 2015. His son Riley is also a skater while his son Spencer is a musician.
