Tara got her start in the entertainment industry by acting in more than 100 commercials as a child. Her first movie big break was The Big Lebowski in 1998, when she was only 23 years old. She continued to perform, acting in films like American Pie, Josie and the Pussycats, and Cruel Intentions. She had another huge movie with Sharknado, in which she portrayed the character April Wexler for six total movies from 2013 to 2018.
A few awards she has won for her work in Hollywood include MTV Movie Award for Best Fight and MTV Movie Award for Most Frightened Performance. Not only that, but Tara has even tried her hand at reality TV. She starred in season 2 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
