Rev. Run is a rap legend and a family man! He made his name (which is really Joseph Simmons) as a member of the iconic hip hop group Run-DMC along with Darryl McDaniels (DMC) and Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell.
In the 2000s, he reached a new audience by starring in the show ‘Run’s House’ with his family. He married his first wife Valerie Vaughn in 1983 and had two daughters (Vanessa and Angela) and a son (Joseph Jr.). After the pair divorced, he married his second wife Justine Jones in 1994, and the couple had two more sons Daniel, Russell, and a daughter Victoria, who tragically died during child birth. The pair later adopted another little girl, named Miley Justine Simmons in 2007.
Through his TV series, Run showed off just how close his family is, and his kids have gone on to successful careers in their own right.
