Ice queen! Michelle Kwan became one of America’s sweethearts in the late 90s, when she dominated the figure skating world. She’s won two Olympic medals, the silver in 1998, and the bronze in 2002. She’s also a five-time World Champion, nine-time US Champion, and currently boasts the titles of most decorated figure skater in U.S. history.
Michelle enjoyed more than a few sponsorship deals after shooting to fame with figure skating. She appeared in TV show specials and commercials, with endorsement contracts with Starbucks, United Airlines, Coca-Cola, Minute Maid, and more. Michelle also worked as a surrogate to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Michelle has been married once, to American Coast Guard Lietunenant Clay Pell from 2013 to 2017. In January 2022, Michelle proudly announced the birth of her first child, a daughter she named Kalista Belle Kwan.
