Born May 16, 1919 in West Allis, Wisconsin, he was a prodigy from the start. His fame would start to soar in the 40s and by the 50s through 70s he was the highest-paid entertainer in the world. The star was a Las Vegas legend, with established concert residencies in Sin City in addition to his robust touring schedule. He was known for being over-the-top, dressing in glittering capes and enjoying a lavish lifestyle.
Liberace passed away in Palm Springs, California on February 4, 1987 due to AIDs-related pneumonia. He was 67.
