Born in Hawai’i, based in California, and broadcasting to around the world, Lia Marie Johnson has established herself as one of YouTube’s biggest rising child stars. After moving around with her military family, Lia landed in California, which afforded her a great opportunity to pursue a life in entertainment. Though she started her own YouTube channel in 2007, she got her big break in 2010 when she joined the Fine Brother’s hit YouTube series, ‘Kids React.’ She would be part of the spinoffs, ‘Teens React’ and ‘YouTubers React,’ and Lia would funnel fans from those hit series to her own channel. She would appear in a variety of other streaming series, including ‘T@gged,’ ‘AwesomenessTV,’ and the spin-off, ‘Terry the Tomboy.’ Nickelodeon would produce a ‘Terry the Tomboy’ movie, premiering it in 2014. Lia would also find success in music, releasing a handful of singles from 2015-2020. She would sign with Capitol Records in 2016, but a album would be slow to emerge.
