Lauren Alaina started to sing at the age of three, in which she performed with a kid’s choir, as well as performed in church and at family holiday gatherings. During her teens Alaina started traveling to Nashville and putting on shows at local bars on Broadway, up until the prime age of 16, which is when she finally decided to audition for American Idol! The singer auditioned for the tenth season of American Idol in Nashville, Tennessee and her hometown of Rossville, Georgia was so excited it honored her by proclaiming May 14 as “Lauren Alaina Day!”

Some memorable performances of the Georgia native included one in which she belted out “Before He Cheats” during the season finale, proving she was a big star! Lauren came in second place and in the years since she’s released her own country music. She also competed on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2019.
