After all the blood, sweat, and tears, it’s now time to party! The Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their Super Bowl LIV win with a much-deserved victory parade through the streets of Kansas City, Missouri. During the Feb. 5 bash, despite the forecast of bad weather, the stars of the NFL champion squad joined the hundreds of thousands who gathered to see the first Chiefs squad to win the Lombardi trophy in 50 years. The Chiefs pulled off the feat by defeating the San Francisco 49ers in an amazing-come-from-behind victory. Kansas City trailed the Niners by 10 points going into the fourth quarter, but Patrick Mahomes led a rally that saw the Chiefs put up 21-unanswered points. When the final whistle blew on Super Bowl LIV, Kansas City stood victorious, 31-20. It snapped a half-century NFL championship drought for Kansas City, and they drank in the win among all their fans with their Victory Parade (and rally.) Congratulations!
