Cinemax and The Cinema Society hosted a special screening of ‘Jett’ on June 11 at The Roxy Cinema in New York City. Creator Sebastian Gutierrez and stars Carla Gugino (who also executive produces the series), Giancarlo Esposito, Chris Backus, Gaite Jansen, Michael Aronov, Rya Kihlstedt, Gus Halper, Lucy Walters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Mustafa Shakir, David Aron Damane, Savannah Britt, and Violet McGraw were all in attendance. Other guests included Julianna Margulies, Keith Lieberthal, Connie Britton, Malin Akerman, Mira Sorvino, Joshua Jackson, Helena Christensen, Bart Freundlich, Geneva Carr, Kathleen Turner, and more. The party was at Gitano Jungle Terraces and people drank Qui tequila cocktails (named Jett’s Secret and Cuban Escape). The new series debuted on Cinemax on June 14 and follows world-class thief Daisy ‘Jett’ Kowalski, who is just out of prison and already being forced back into what got her there in the first place.
