Janelle Monáe is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, and producer. Today, she is best known as being behind the smash hits “Pynk,” “Make Me Feel,” and “Yoga.” She made music under Atlantic Records (who she is signed to), as well as her own organization, Wondaland Arts Society.
Monáe has had quite the successful career so far. She has received a total of eight Grammy Award nominations so far. Dirty Computer in particular was nominated for Grammy Award for Album of the Year and NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Album. She has even been honored with the Billboard Women in Music Rising Star Award, which she received in 2015, and the Trailblazer of the Year Award, which she received in 2018. In 2022, she appeared with the star-studded cast of ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ alongside Kate Hudson, Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, and more.
