Elon Musk, born June 28, 1971, is a Canadian-South-African, tech entrepreneur and co-founder of two of the world’s largest tech companies and you can see photos of him here.
Musk co-founded SpaceX in 2002 in the hopes of designing spacecraft that could build greenhouses on Mars. His company was met with a huge success in 2012, building the first spacecraft to safely take items to the space station.
He also founded Tesla in 2003, a company pioneering the design of cars that run on electric power. Musk has been known for some of his outlandish statements in the past and is a bit of an enigma when it comes to his personality. He’s known for his quirky social media presence and in 2022 made a bid to takeover Twitter, (now X), one of his main outlets.
He also has quite the personal life. He was married to Justine Wilson from 2000 to 2008, and the pair welcomed five sons through in vitro fertilization after their first son died at 10 weeks old. Musk then married actress Talulah Riley twice in 2010 and 2013. He has two children with ex partner Grimes as well. In June of 2022 his transgender daughter filed to change her name, citing the desire to ‘not be related’ to her father anymore.
