Dr. Dre and Nicole Young first met in 1995 when she was still married to NBA player Sedale Threatt. It’s not clear whether or not Nicole and Sedale split before or after she became romantically involved with Dre, but some reports claim Dre swooned her before the split was official.
Dre and Nicole married in May 1996 and went on to have two children together. Their son, Truice, was born in 1997, and their daughter, Truly, was born in 2001. Dre also had six children from previous relationships, and Nicole became their stepmom. His son Andre Jr. tragically died from a drug overdose at the age of 20 in 2008.
After 24 years of marriage, Nicole filed for divorce from Dre on June 29, 2020, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split. They finalized their divorce in 2021. Scroll through our gallery to see pics of the former spouses.
