Daft Punk is an electronic music group composed of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. The twosome formed Dafter Punk in 1993 and were incredibly influential in raising the profile of French house on the international stage. Together, the duo created hits like “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” “Get Lucky,” and “One More Time.”
The duo also earned critical acclaim as well as commercial success. Together, the pair earned six Grammy awards among 12 nominations. In 2014, they won both Album of the Year for Random Access Memories as well as Record of the Year for “Get Lucky.”
