Peter Gene Hernandez, more popularly known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, and dancer. He has gained much popularity for his music making in the R&B, funk, soul, reggae, hip hop, and rock genres.
He rose to fame in 2010 when the iconic singles “Nothin’ on You” (with B.o.B) and “Billionaire” (with Travie McCoy) dropped. That same year, he released his debut studio album ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans.’ This album was wildly successful as it contained hit tracks, “Just the Way You Are”, “Grenade”, and “The Lazy Song”.
To date, he has won numerous awards, such as Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album (2014), Brit Award for Song of the Year (2015), and American Music Award for Artist of the Year (2017).
